Ulster University

The new Ulster University Belfast campus is located at York Street in the heart of Belfast City Centre. The campus is 75,000m2 and will house over 15,500 students and staff. Ulster University has four main campuses Belfast, Coleraine, Magee and Jordanstown.

The creation of the iconic university is part of the most significant regeneration project in Belfast since 1998 consisting of 19 roof levels and 120 floors. The campus includes innovative learning spaces including; stimulating and engaging teaching facilities, library, social learning student rooms and much more.

Due to the size of the building, NUGENT provided the Mechanical and Electrical installation for Phase 2. Block BD which was complete in August has recently welcomed its first students. Block BB was handed over in October which has been completed to perfection.

Working in conjunction with main contractor Somague Sacyr, Michael Nugent Ltd have provided the mechanical and electrical services for this remarkable project.  NUGENT have a wealth of experience providing MEP services for the Education sector with this project further enhancing our ever-growing portfolio.
