1963 Founded
With a spark of ingenuity & a vision for high-quality mechanical services, Michael Nugent founded the company Michael Nugent Plumbing & Heating Engineers in 1963, which commenced trading from the Main Street in Pomeroy, Co. Tyrone.
1966
First public sector commercial Plumbing & Heating project, Pomeroy Forestry School.
1980
Due to continuous growth the company relocated to a larger premises in Pomeroy in 1981, where our Head Quarters can still be found today.
1984
First ROI project, Knock Airport Aerfort na Connacht.
1995
Due to demand for Mechanical services in the ROI, the company unveiled a new office in Dublin.
2000
Michael Nugent Plumbing & Heating Engineers underwent it’s first rebrand to Michael Nugent Ltd.
2003
Due to demand for Mechanical services in the North West, the company unveiled a new office in Derry.
2007
First GB project – Portchester Gate, London apartment block.
2011
Electrical division was established. Richard Gilmour named first non-family Director.
2013
Celebrating the 50th anniversary of Michael Nugent Ltd with a new website.
2017
Due to continued growth & demand for MEP services within the industry & our workforce growing, the opportunity arose to add an office in Belfast.
2022
The company underwent an iconic rebrand. With a Strong Past & Bright Future, Michael Nugent Ltd enters a new phase as NUGENT.
