Maynooth University, ICT Hub

As the largest building on campus, the ICT Hub was a major development for Maynooth University. The Information & Communications Technology Building contains the Hamilton Institute, Callan Institute, Department for Computer Science and teaching spaces; as well as a Business Incubation Centre for start-up companies. It’s therefore not only an important hub for the university, but the local economy and small enterprises as well.

The development was a significant project for Michael Nugent, adding to our already strong and time-served experience in the education sector. We provided all plumbing, heating, ventilation and sanitation, including associated BEMS wiring.

This project was awarded the Best Educational Building at the LAMA Awards 2016, and has also been shortlisted for an ACEI Design Excellence Award 2017 in the M&E Large project category.
