LIV Student Accommodation, Belfast

LIV Student located on York Street is one of Belfast City’s largest new student accommodation blocks. LIV Student is the first building in NI to be awarded 3-star Fitwel accreditation! This is the highest rating given by the world’s leading certification system for buildings. Fitwell is implementing a vision for a healthier future for buildings and the surrounding communities.

This is Valeo Management Europe (VME) third LIV Student complex. The brands journey began in Dublin 2018, followed by Sheffield opening its doors in 2019 with more student complex’s’ opening next year.

The student accommodation includes 717 stylish bedrooms, studio rooms and apartments across the 13 floors. With shared communal areas and kitchens, retail units, courtyard areas, fitness studio and study rooms the complex is exceptional for the students.

Michael Nugent Ltd provided the Mechanical and Electrical installation for the student complex which included but not limited to; ventilation system, full domestic water services supply, foul and rainwater pipework, AHU and extract fans, sub mains cabling, all lighting, audio visual and much more. Working in conjunction with main contractor Graham Michael Nugent Ltd have provided the mechanical and electrical services for this remarkable project.  Michael Nugent Ltd have a wealth of experience providing MEP services for the Hotels & Leisure sector including university accommodation.
