University of Dundee – CTIR

The Centre for Translational and Interdisciplinary Research is an exciting, innovative development at the University of Dundee. With the purpose of providing research space for drug development, Mathematical Biology, Biophysics, Bioinformatics, data analysis and software development, the building houses over 140 research staff in multiple laboratories.

The CTIR also encourages the amalgamation of science and the arts, so exhibition areas and digital media installations were created on the ground floor to display pieces of artwork inspired by life sciences.

Michael Nugent Ltd carried out the complete mechanical installation of this exciting new-build including all plumbing; heating; sanitation; ventilation and specialist gas supplies to science laboratories – ensuring this important centre of research is facilitated with the finest of mechanical services.
