St.Edward’s College – The Quad Development

The Grade II listed building was established in 1873 as a co-educational boarding and day school in Oxford. The quadrangle at St. Edward’s was originally part of the masterplan. The modern buildings complete ‘Simeon’s Dream’ which was part of the original masterplan. The Quad development comprises 2 distinct elements an ‘L’ Shaped Christie Centre and the Oval shaped hall Olivier Hall which is joined together by the ground floor.

The school are now able to come together to watch and perform concerts, performances and many other events in the 1,000 seated Olivier Hall. The Olivier Hall is a magnificent oval assembly hall which includes an impressive stage lighting and audio visual installation. The Quad academic facilities provides flexible teaching spaces, 1000 seat assembly hall, library, reading room and foyer.

Michael Nugent Ltd completed MEP services including but not limited to; Feature Lighting, Lightning Protection, Audio Visuals and Gas Fired Water Heaters.
