NIFRS Learning & Development Centre

Michael Nugent Ltd completed the full Mechanical & Electrical services installation for NIFRS Learning & Development Centre £4.8m state of the art building.

The Learning & Development centre includes a critical training infrastructure for the service, a tactical firefighting facility over 6 floors to train for high rise building fires and the range of domestic and commercial property fires that the service would respond to as well as welfare and classroom facilities.

Michael Nugent Ltd are proud to have been involved in this prestigious project which has delivered a facility suited to the training needs of Firefighters for years to come.

Design work for Phase 2 of the Learning and Development Centre will commence in due course following the appointment of a team and will cover the remainder of the training infrastructure works. Phase 2 has a value of £40m and following all necessary government and planning approvals it is anticipated that work could commence in summer 2019.
