City Of London Freemen’s Swimming Pool

City of London Freeman’s School Swimming Pool project consisted of the complete refurbishment of the Ashtead 18th century mansion house and the construction of an eye catching 25m six-lane swimming pool and adjoining events space.

The newly constructed pool building replaces the school’s original building, which was destroyed following a fire in 2014, and relocates it from the west to the east side of the campus next to the existing sporting facilities.

Working in conjunction with main contractor Gilbert Ash, Michael Nugent Ltd provided all mechanical and electrical services for this outstanding project. Specialised services such as the swimming pool filtration system and ventilation were installed, in addition to heating & domestic water and BMS Systems. All electrical systems such as lighting, security/fire alarms, general power accessories and solar systems were also provided.
