Brighton College Performing Arts Centre

Brighton College was founded in 1845 by William Aldwin Soames and was the first independent school to be founded in Sussex. The school entails multiple award winning buildings. In September 1973 the school became co-educational welcoming girls.

The site which is currently occupied by the Lester and Science building is on the school’s conservation area which forms the campus main quadrangle which includes grade II listed buildings.

The new theatre and performing arts centre entails a 400 seat multifunctional theatre, dance and drama studios, 6th Form centre, classrooms, cafe, open space for gatherings and more. The building is estimated to be 3,200 square metres of space over 3 floors and a basement.
