Ayr Outpatients Department

Following a review into the healthcare services in Ayshire and Arran, it was established that more could be done to improve outpatient care in the area. As a result, the Outpatients Department at Ayr University Hospital was extended and developed to offer a larger range of services. In addition to general outpatient care, the facility also contains a renal unit, dental rooms and podiatry services.

We were responsible for the mechanical and electrical elements of the project, fitting heating; public health; medical gas supplies; renal and specialist water; pneumatic tubes; dental air; VRF Air Conditioning and ventilation, as well as full BMS wiring installation. The extension works required part of the main hospital lobby to be closed off, so we planned our works to reduce impact on the hospital users as much as possible.
