Northern Ireland Hospice

From heating and plumbing supplies – to mains power, lighting, cabling, ventilation and medical gas lines – we’ve designed the most innovative M&E solutions. Our works are in close keeping with the highly modern finish determined for this advanced palliative care facility.

With two spacious storeys, the centre boasts 18 en-suite bedrooms, both comfortable and private, but still capable of facilitating vital medical procedures. The hospice will also offer quiet rooms, gardens, activity areas, a day hospice, an outpatients department and physiotherapy, occupational therapy and chaplaincy services. As well as care for the terminally ill, education will also be at the forefront of the centre’s purposes. The upper floor provides a library, lecture theatre and study spaces to equip staff with the resources for medical research into life-limiting diseases.

Michael Nugent Ltd fitted full M&E services for this illustrious project, which is the largest project ever undertaken by a charity in NI and is also the first ‘Dementia-friendly’ hospice anywhere in the UK and Ireland.
