Specialist Works Contract Award – New Staycity Aparthotel, Belfast

We’re proud to share that NUGENT Specialist Works division are delivering the M&E services for this exciting BREEAM-compliant development, with main contractors Killowen Contracts Ltd— the alteration, extension, and full refurbishment of an existing eight-storey building, transforming it into a high-quality 96-room aparthotel.

This project has been designed to meet modern sustainability and energy efficiency standards, while significantly enhancing the building’s functionality, performance, and overall appearance.

Our scope of works includes a complete electrical installation, featuring:
– New switchgear
– Integrated fire detection and alarm systems
– Advanced security systems
– Fully compliant life safety systems

In addition, the development includes a full mechanical installation, incorporating:

– A state-of-the-art Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) air conditioning system for efficient climate control
– A new air source heat pump system to provide sustainable and energy-efficient hot water generation
