NUGENT are delighted to be providing the MEP installation for the second phase of multi million Belfast Harbour Studios located at Belfast’s Giant’s park. The extension to the studios will include; new studios S1&S2 & office space, new workshops, new Studio Ulster previously SMIL studios & offices space, & associated site services. The new buildings will be a purpose built studio complex, designed to meet the needs of modern production, The complex will include purpose built studios which will provide 180,000 sq ft of space.
NUGENT are delighted to be providing our knowledgeable MEP services for the historic project alongside Main Contractor GRAHAM. Having provided MEP installation for the iconic Linen Mill Studios – Game of Thrones tour in Banbridge the NUGENT team bring a wealth of experience to the project.
NUGENT project team are working behind the scenes and are anticipating arriving on site early April of 2023.

‘Studio Ulster’ is one of the magnificent projects set on Giant’s Park and is funded by the Belfast Region Deal which is a large scale virtual production studio in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The £72 million project is being developed with Belfast Harbour, Ulster University and Northern Ireland Screen.

It is anticipated the extended studios will create approximately 1,000 jobs in NI for the creative industry. Project completion is estimated to open in 2024.
