January 23, 2019

Michael Nugent Ltd have been awarded the M&E contract for the new Hard Rock Hotel in Dublin. Work on site is well underway and our team of experts continue to make excellent progress.

The Hard Rock Hotels are a worldwide renowned chain of hotels. For the Dublin chain, the aim of the project is to match the sound and music concepts of the brand with the interiors of the hotel.

Dublin’s new Hard Rock Hotel is located on a confined site on Lord Edward Street, in Dublin’s City Centre. The project involves the refurbishment of the existing 3 storey red brick Exchange Building. This building dates to 1912 and was previously the location for the Parliament Hotel. The development also consists of the Fashion House Building which is a new 7 storey extension to the rear of the parliament building and includes a glass link bridge connecting the two properties. The new 4 star, 120 bedroom hotel will also house bars and restaurants as well as interior design showcasing iconic music memorabilia.

MNL are providing the full mechanical and electrical services installation working closely with main contractor John Paul Construction. We have provided M&E services for numerous successful hotel projects in the past, including the Hampton by Hilton at both Stansted and Edinburgh airport,  The Grand Central Hotel Belfast and the Clayton Hotel in Chiswick.
