Michael Nugent Ltd delighted to be shortlisted for the CN Specialists Awards!

This is remarkably the 17th year of the CN Specialists Awards which recognises outstanding achievements of specialist contractors highlighting business and projects across the industry.

Michael Nugent Ltd are delighted to be shortlisted for the Construction News Specialists Awards for Project of the Year by a Specialist Contractor (subcontract over 5m) – The Grand Hotel, Birmingham. The Grand Hotel is a legacy in itself, the iconic hotel is one of the city’s most treasured buildings. The hotel is a 141-year-old building which retains a mix of French Renaissance, Victorian and Art Deco features and now a modern flare.

Michael Nugent Ltd are extremely proud of our dedicated and enthusiastic team who work above and beyond for our clients. Our team of experts completed the complex M&E services for the Grand Hotel project to the highest standards within 15 months. To achieve completion on time as challenges arose during the climate of the pandemic, we outsourced more tradespeople and worked out of hours to meet the timeline. Michael Nugent Ltd completed the M&E in September, 2020 for the iconic venue and unfortunately due to the global pandemic the ‘sleeping beauty’ got to sleep a little longer opening its doors to the public in May, 2021.

This is Michael Nugent Ltd’s first year entering the CN Specialists Awards, so fingers crossed. The awards are at The Brewery in London on Tuesday 19th October.
