MEP works have begun for the refurbishment and restoration of 1911 former Kodak HQ

The Grade II listed seven-storey building was built in 1911 as the former European Head Quarters for photography experts Kodak company. The historic building is situated on Kingsway in the city centre of London.

Kodak House compromises of 7,360 sq. m from the ground to the seventh floor. The historic building will undertake a £16 million extensive internal and external refurbishment and restoration. The works will transform the listed building into an open plan CAT A office space with communal amenity and maintaining the fascinating historic features.

The existing façade is being restored maintaining the heritage of the Grade II listed building. While the development will include multiple enhancements to the existing building, the refurbishment will include an open plan CAT A office space with a communal roof terrace, new commuter facilities and enlarged reception. The building has been re-modelled over the years, although this is the first time in over a century it will undertake a transformation.

The building is designed to achieve sustainability benchmarks with WELL Gold, BREEAM Excellent. Working alongside highly accreditable Main Contractors Gilbert Ash, our team of experts are providing MEP services across the seven storeys.
